This Colony is located 65 kms Northwest from Punta Arenas, on the shores of Otway Inlet. There are about 10.000 Magellan Penguins (Spheniscus Magallanicus). Every year, from October to March, these birds return to breed and nest. Along the route, several varieties of bird species can be seen, such as Caiquén (Upland Goose), Ñandú (Lesser Rhea) and Condor, among others, and mammals as Grey Foxes, and Skunks.
